Major implications for college football, every P5 conference will be effected by the teams in those conferences. Vandy - SEC, Miami - ACC, USC & Standford - Pac-12, Notre Dame, etc will have to evaluate how they will deal with this.

It is nothing more than the opinion of the current general counsel of the NLRB. Griffin was appointed to the job by President Barack Obama in 2013. His term ends in November. A new general counsel, appointed by President Donald Trump, could rewrite and reverse this opinion.

Doesn't this ruin the amateur status? If you are an employee because you play football, then you are getting paid to play football. Won't that violate the NCAA's amateur provisions?
