It’s a very interesting break outside the box. Trump appears to be bypassing the notion of systemic injustice but offering to right specific instances of injustice.

I see your point about access to celebrities as the key to justice. But it could also bring the most egregious cases and set a precedent for prosecutors and judges across the country to be more receptive to appeals of those sorts of cases.

It’s also transcending the narrative that’s he’s a racist, fascist, etc. (which I don’t buy.)

This is getting ridiculous. Trump is infatuated with celebrity.

I have had 4 one years olds over the course of 33 years. My last one year old is now 11.
        Worked was past tense.

Divits asked if I had a current 1 yr old. my comment was shiny objects worked on my 1 yr old, too.
Grammar is not my strong point but I thought it came out correctly,

No, that was Obama while in the White House. Trump was already a celebrity.

Their records are expunged and all civil rights restored. It is legally as though the alleged crime never happened. (I am not a lawyer but that’s how I understand it.)

Not the pardon and the pardoned but citizen’s respect for the rule of law, blind justice et al.

He already battered them and the NFL. Now he’s forcing players to put up or shut up and come to the table. If they come, Trump Said his committee would review and then he’ll either take action (which doesn’t mean just pardon) or not.

I get the issue of access, that’s real, but I doubt the NFL players bring him a stack of cases that are the equivalent of the Kardashian case (which did not result in a pardon).

Theoretically, other than the access issue, respect for the rule of law should be restored if the review results in just action, like the Kardashian case (which wasn’t a pardon, but a correct, just decision).

Isn’t the whole point of the kneeling at the anthem to communicate citizens’ lack of confidence in the rule of law and blind justice? I would think the chief law enforcement officer in the country communicating his willingness to address injustice would be welcomed.
