The "offensive punch" is back in Gainesville just like Foley told us fans when he brought Mac in. Mac said he didn't know what to call his offense when introduced as the new coach but it "would be something to behold".

Zaire probably had about 10 snaps where the play call from Nuss was so late that we were snapping the ball with around 3 seconds on the clock.

Well, that part is true. He makes Chimp look like an offensive genius.

A shakeup? You get the feeling that maybe Mac was looking for a hint that things haven't been going all that well offensively.

Offensive production usually requires an Oline that doesn't resemble sedentary marshmallows. We are soft, soft, soft on the Oline.

That play is a perfect example of why Michigan went in dry yesterday. Their entire front was downhill to the ball as soon as Franks turned around to hand the ball off, and did we ever end up calling playaction off of that play to roll Franks out to the right and hit a wide open receiver? Not that I can recall. If you see the defense is playing THAT aggressively towards the run, fake the handoff, roll the QB out, hit a guy either in the flat or coming across the defense, and move the chains.

Agreed, that is why you need the short passing game that goes beyond the line of scrimmage :)

Nuss hasn't called a quick slant - probably ever.
