As I said earlier, Hudson was off early and has really let this game come to him. He also has looked pretty solid on D to me.

It was a nice workman like win on a night UF was maybe a bit under the weather and not playing great. UF needs to keep this going on Saturday.

MSU isn't all that good, that said liked the defense and half court offense, much better.

Pretty good prediction on the Egor three amount. Not bad with the score either!

Great game vs an overmatched opponent. We played pretty good D but we had 15 turnovers. Egor had another great SEC game and so did Cheese. Really have to get Allen going these next couple of games as he only took 3 shots and scored 3 points. 4-0 in the SEC so lets get ready for the next one @Ole Miss on Saturday. Go Gators!!

Egor looks to be fully back from his painful foot issue. What a weapon to grab off the free market. When Egbunu gets back into the flow, this team is gonna be a contender....So much fire power.... And Allen has yet to find his confidence this season.

Allen may be the shooter who carries us in the post season. Just a hunch that he'll find his mojo by end of March. Winning solves everything! Go Gators!

    A bit off topic, sorry...

The commentators briefly talked about the upcoming barn game and what pearl has done to improve his team (made me nauseous). Last I knew, pearl was not cooperating with ncaa officials, which reeks of more dirty deeds. Any updates on the barn’s status in the investigation? If pearl is guilty AGAIN, he should be banned for life. bspn seems to love the guy, so he’ll land on his feet.

Pearl is guilty but the NCAA has no balls when it comes to big scandals like this. If Bowen who apparantly got his dad paid 100000 to go to Louisville last second can transfer to USCe and be cleared to play because no one can prove he benefitted and the money is paid back...I expect the Auburn players to be cleared and play this year and nothing to happen to Pearl

Glad for the win and the perfect start to the SEC schedule. But I have to say that this is some of the sloppiest basketball I've ever seen. I know I'm old and today's game looks to take more advantage of the athleticism of the players than the fundamentals and discipline of days gone by, but it sure can be hard to watch. I remember when AAU basketball got started and today's game is what it looked like. I remember a lot of the kids liked it, presumably because it was a respite from the pattern offenses and staid requirements for fundamental perfection, but at the time a bunch of the coaches couldn't stand it for the fear of what it might do in terms of the athletes meeting the coaches' requirements of them and the effect it would have on what teams (not individuals) were doing to be successful.

I see our guys (and players in other games as well) jack up some of the craziest shots or drive out of control offensively and then stand flat-footed and react to the ball almost lackadaisically or fail to properly fight through screens on defense. I know running and gunning is popular, but it looks like there is a happy median that could be reached, allowing chances for greater success. Not to pick on one guy, but I watch Igor and I see a guy that can obviously shoot and score, but he is quite poor on the defensive side other than being able to rebound some. I'm having a hard time processing what the game is now and how it is better beyond the athleticism of the players. Somebody help me, please.

This team along with this season can yet be figured out? = no steady developmental improvement?
    1) Chase Johnson = useless due to concussion fallout? due to unsolvable mystery illness? With his faculties in tact, I think Chase is a "mainstay" in-the-making. Solid size, very good body control while keeping shot alignment. But can he regain health? He reminds me of those tall, top players those UNC contenders always developed?

    2) Egbunu's terrible injury ... when will he return? ... how effective will he be ... at fitting in, at contributing?

    3) Egor with his 1st foot injury in 4 years, plaguing his offense for 70% of his game contributions?

    4) Hudson's illness, (mono) lingering, hampering?

    5) Worst of all, K.Allen's mysterious poor performances? should be contributing 14ppg + drawing out defenses.

Could there be more individual interferences? Suggestions?
    >>> Question = Will we gel or get forced into collapse? How's White outmaneuvering all this undertow?
Any soothsayers got some sooth-truth. I'm wary and exhausted by our mysteries of maybe's?? Help?

Florida wins 71-54. Great second half. We kept our composure and built the lead. Once up 10 plus Mississippi St started forcing shots and we rook off from there. Good game given the injuries and illnesses we are dealing with

If they play tough def down the stretch and keep passing to get better shot selection I see a pretty good team and season. I still say
that big body down low is the missing link but the old Lake City boy is doing much better lately.........i can NEVER remember his damnd name.

The story was Pearl was not cooperating, ie had lawyered up, in AU internal investigation. Sadly when the FEDs get involved now, you must, even the President, but seek an attorney and be very careful about getting caught up in some process crime. The Auburn FBI situation was a matter of an assistant coach steering a player towards a financial advisor.

I do not think that is a crime. Nor do I think that is an NCAA violation unless someone can show the player was receiving extra benefits.
