If you read my thread, it was about way more than my thoughts on players, coaching or wins/losses. It was about the state of a program that didn’t seem to care.

I was there the very next week, when tens of thousands of seats lay bare, while garbage music blasted from speakers and a scholarship level band sat quietly, and while we seemed more interested in honoring a career drug addict because he once lived in Gville than honoring the traditions that made UF great in the first place.

I was there for kickoff, and I stayed well after the game so my kids could interact with players. Most of the under 60k bailed well before final snap. And that was my point. Until we show we truly care, nothing will change. Being ok with half-assing everything related to the football program landed us here. You just posting your rah-rah nonsense, with little substance to support it, just furthers the problem.

Sometimes you have to call things out for them to get better.

Can’t wait to get to Gainesville for the game! Tigers just played their best game of the season, our defense is going to have to build on the MSU win.

Would love to see the secondary get that goose egg out of the int column for burrow.

"Well hellooooo dere, little lady! I say, I say, how do you do?" :naughty:

Got this from the Corndogs forums (tigerfan.com), puts things into perspective as far as their schedule so far. If we pull this off it will change the narrative this season for many. The only loss for LSU's opponents so far other than them is Ole miss vs .... Alabama.

#5 LSU:
- Miami (4-1)
- Auburn (4-1)
- LaTech (3-1)
- Ole Miss (3-2)
Combined record: 14-5 (.736)

#4 Ohio State:
- Oregon State (1-4)
- Rutgers (1-4)
- TCU (3-2)
- Tulane (2-3)
- Penn St (4-1)
Combined record: 11-14 (.440)

#3 Clemson:
- Texas A&M (3-2)
- Georgia Southern (3-1)
- Georgia Tech (2-3)
- Syracuse (4-1)
Combined record: 12-7 (.631)

#2 Georgia:
- South Carolina (2-2)
- MTSU (2-2)
- Missouri (3-1)
- UT (2-3)
Combined record: 9-8 (.529)

#1 Alabama:
- Louisville (2-3)
- Arkansas St (2-3)
- Ole Miss (3-2)
- Texas A&M (3-2)
- ULL (1-3)
Combined record: 11-13 (.458)

To 78s comments about a trajectory changing game, this is the one. The msu road win was nice but it's not monumental and it's not trajectory changing. Beating a top 5 ranked team with as much NFL talent as any team in the country would be. A win here and everyone is sitting up and saying, "whoa, something special is going on in Gainesville." Recruits really start taking notice and we are immediately the unquestioned top program in the state (Miami got crushed by them).

That said, I think it's close but they eek one out. But man it would be nice to get this one. THIS is the one that would change the narrative nation wide and serve notice.

We could easily find ourselves in the MSU fans’ shoes this Saturday: coming up short in a grinder at home.

i would be shocked if it's not. Would be the epitome of a once great fan base turning mediocre

Sadly, it’s not. Lots of tix left. This is @soflagator ’s bigger point in the its over thread. While we are debating each possession, quarter, and game for a sign of the team being back, and referendum on the Mullen hire, the less obsessed fans just aren’t as interested. Hope it turns around, but it doesn’t seem it has yet.

While we look better on paper, I believe when you look at the level of competition those stats go out the window.

LSU has two quality wins and another over an SEC west opponent in Ol’Miss.

I am excited for the game though because I think our D is playing pretty good right now and nothing would make me happier as a fan than to completely dismantle LSU.

However, I am trying to keep my enthusiasm in check by keeping my expectations grounded...

My expectations are to embarrass LSU. I think we’re going to make a below-average Joe Burrow look silly.

The ticket office is reporting that there are a “very limited number of tickets available” for this game. I hope they are correct.
