That way, even if we can't drive the length of the field we can kick field goals to put points on the board…

I dont know. It will be interesting to see how much big Fred Johnson has improved.

Everyone now knows that Halter was too slow for OT. Im not sure we will be worse off with Fred in the game. Surely the last three months of practice have paid off.

I remember the late John Mckay getting so pissed off with the Bucs PK situation one season that in the last game, when the game was far out of reach, he went down the bench and asked if anyone had kicked in high school. An OL named George Yarno had. The Bucs scored a meaningless TD with a minute to go, and on cue, McKay ran the big OL out on the field for the point after, and he drilled it.

Mac needs to do the same at this point, or just go for it every fourth down inside the 50 or for 2 if we get a td somehow.
