That's not a true statement. Our depth is young for obvious reasons. Although the return of Ivey by Kentucky should help.

Those quick passes will alleviate some of the problem but the running game will be affected. I think a few games of experience will result in marked improvement. Just in time to put it to UT.

It looks like they are working on some plays, that bubble screen is not being run too well, blockers not very effective and not that great of a gain. FG practice in real game. Defense probably got an earful at the half.

I thought so as well. The defense has been much better in the second half. Although I think they're stunting more.

They are young as a unit. Johnson has played most of the game. The pass protection got much better when he came in. The run blocking isn't very good at all. If they don't get much better in that area, we are going to have a rough time this year.

This is why Grier is the logical choice... His ability to catch horrible snaps and immediately get rid of the ball to the right guy will really help the o-line. They'll get better, they just need time...

They seemed to do better in the 2nd half but in the first half I saw quite a few times our linemen got beat even with no trickery. Not sure if was the same linemen getting beat usually or not.

I thought they looked horrible at first. But by mid 2nd quarter it was much better. Honestly, I expected the D-line to be much better than what I saw.
