I've must've been living under a rock. I wasn't even aware it was called the Pinellas Gator Club again. When did that happen? I always used to go to these but stopped when they combined with Hillsborough. Got too big. Even covered a few of them in the '80s when Hall was coach. You want to talk about a scintillating interview. Galen Hall was personality plus (very nice guy, too).
That's actually a cool venue but kind of a strange place for a football gathering. Sam Ash Music adjoins it in the historic Kapok Tree Inn facility. My son and I go in there from time to time so he can screw around with the guitars and me the drums.
I'll probably go because it's less than two miles from my office and I can hand out business cards. Who knows? I may get frisky and have my pic taken with Mac. Wouldn't that be a hoot?
Who cares if he's on the hotseat? He's our coach and I wanna see us do well regardless of circumstances.
