This is about will he play, not should he play (because I believe most of us feel Grier should play if Driskel continues to suck)

While I want him to play if we need him, I think that it will be at least two more games before he will be properly prepared. I hope that our current QB will improve and the one in trouble will somehow be found innocent. I am more concerned about UF as a highly ethical institution that a few football games that we might win.

Assuming Harris will not be back, Grier had better play - or I'm afraid we won't have a chance to win many more games.
I'm still interested to hear what the Harris incident is all about and how that will shake out (HJ and his older brother seem to be talking relatively positive).

Depends on what they see in practice. In the spring it was clear he wasn't ready. Treon and Grier are very different quarterbacks. Treon can lead a run-oriented option offense while Grier can't. He isn't built for it. He is a pure passer. I do think he'll play if Driskel continues to look like a walk-on.

I do not think he plays...WM is too conservative, playing for the 1 in a million situation where he needs Grier.

The only way Grier plays this week is if Jeff has another game like Bama and UT. Now, in a couple weeks (if his back spasms stay under control) after he's had some practice reps, he might be given a chance to show what he can do. Personally, I won't be holding my breath.

I don't know where you heard that but it's not accurate. Grier is a very mobile QB. He is a dual threat. Check out his highlights from HS.
