I like a razor with a slim head for maneuverability.

For years I used the Gillette Sensor.

The head looks something like this:

Alas, now it's all 3, 4, 5, 6, even 7 bladed razors. I imagine it would be like trying to shave with a spatula. They look like this:

All I can find in the stores looks like the above. Fine for mowing large areas but not suitable for fine, detail work.

Any recommendations for a decent razor? Especially one with a slim head?

Alex.

I mourned the day the Gillette Trac II went away.
I use the Harry’s Shave Club razor now and it’s not bad. All the others have a hard time getting the tough spots with the plethora of blades.

They ship about once a quarter-
Razors, shaving lotions, etc.

You get a like for not suggesting a straight razor, a ladies razor, or nair right off the bat.

I'm sure those comments are coming.

I use the Mach 3. Shave every day and each blade gets me about a week. It does not every nook and cranny without some work. If y’all figure out a quick option that gets everywhere, I’m all ears as well.

Believe me, I debated a long time about that one.

PS - Full disclosure. I also edited that "I debated long and hard about that one."

Edit: I'm really old...

Signed up for Dollar Shave Club roughly a year ago. Started out with the basic razor and it sucked. Eventually moved up to the Executive. Better shave, but still a lot to be desired.

The best thing I got from DSC is the shave butter. Like this product a lot.

I use Dorco razors...they are the company that supplies Dollar Shave Club. They are super cheap and last a long time and are way better than the Mach 3 i used to use. I would estimate I average about 3x longer use with them than the Mach 3.
