Still hopeful that "0-2" and "Uk" will stand, though they might be one in the same.

The shutout streak could be in jeopardy against some of the better defenses we play, if their own offenses don't give us an easy score.

Also, I know it gets a lot if attention, but I don't really care about the opener streak. To be clear, I certainly care about the loss itself. But during that 27 year stretch, I can only recall 2 other P5 programs total. So to me, it's a very deceptive stat. We haven't lost because we haven't played anyone. It was a nice feather n our cap, but the details skew it. The losing season in 2013 was much more significant because of what that actually meant.

The last time we started 0-2 was 46 years ago - 1971 Doug Dickey (lost the first 5 games). We started 0-1-1 in 1979 and 1984.

Looks like in '71 we also started out 0-5, we could probably match that this year.

The fact that we have had such lousy offenses over the past 7-8 seasons and we still haven't lost the shutout streak yet is amazing to me. Do we currently have the longest streak shutout in the country? I guess any streak is in jeopardy with this coaching staff.
