An interesting topic was discussed on the radio came up the other day. Urban Meyer and Nick Saban are clearly the top 2 coaches in college football. Who would you guys put at number 3? There's such a huge gap, I can't say for sure who I'd put there. What do you guys think? What would your top 5 be?

Based on their body of work, you would probably have to go with either Miles or Fisher. Helmet will be here shortly to declare Bilema the overwhelming choice for bestest.

I think you could make a case for stoops aswell. I know they had a down year but before they had 10+win seasons 5 years in a row. He's had a couple title appearances. I know there's a huge gap between him and the top two but I'd probably put stoops at 3.

Piss on jimbo Fisher. This thread wasn't meant for him. We'll see how good of a coach he is without Winston.

I was being sarcastic about fisher and coker, I just don't think you can put it all on national championships, but clearly saban and meyer 1a and 1b

Jimbo Bowdenbastard has to be pretty close to Gene Chizik in the rankings. In my mind they have to be neck and neck.

No you can't put it all on championships but I think one should be a requirement to be called the 3rd best coach.
