I would have to agree. He makes some valid points, such as QBs throwing it where they shouldn’t and WRs diving for passes when the DB is aiming low already.
I don’t see it ever changing back though. Once it’s gotten to this point it ain’t going back to what it was.

I haven't watched this season. I know some of the college penalties are a joke now.

You probably didn't see it or hear about. But the worst I've seen was in last weeks Jags game. Two Jag defenders were all over the QB trying to get him to the ground. He wouldn't drop. He was fighting for inches and picked up a few. Finally, they won the wrestling match and got him down. The whistle blew after the guy went to the ground. No hits, no cut legs, no nothing, just strength against strength. Refs threw the yellow hanky...Unnecessary roughness. WTH? Were they supposed to do? Ask him nicely to drop to the ground.

The penalty yards were ridiculous and the defender lost a sack.
