Del Rio should've never even sniffed Florida's roster in the first place. He is a prime example of how far Florida has fallen in terms of recruiting and overall image of the football program on a national level.

I have no problem with a guy like Del Rio being on the roster, he should have never received a scholarship and shouldn't be in a position to start. He is like other back up quarterbacks we have had, good enough for a game or two when the starter is knocked out. But not good enough to take you anywhere.

Anyone who thinks LSU's figure below is accurate is higher than Antonio Callaway! They pay their assistants top dollar, so why would the skimp on support staff?

Arms Race: SEC programs are spending millions on dynamic support staffs

https://www.saturdaydownsouth.com/s...ams-spending-millions-dynamic-support-staffs/

The top eight schools all spend at least $2 million on support staff, including the four schools coached by Nick Saban or one of his former assistants (Alabama, Georgia, South Carolina and Florida). Five public schools fall below the $2 million mark, with Kentucky coming in last at just over $1 million in support staff spending.

Here’s how the 13 schools rank:

  1. Georgia ($4,481,974)
  2. Alabama ($2,949,321)
  3. South Carolina ($2,886,986)
  4. Tennessee ($2,823,177)
  5. Auburn ($2,821,608)
  6. Ole Miss ($2,664,181)
  7. Florida ($2,640,975)
  8. Texas A&M ($2,131,228)
  9. LSU ($1,662,278)
  10. Mississippi State ($1,478,330)
  11. Missouri ($1,254,997)
  12. Arkansas ($1,110,559)
  13. Kentucky ($1,063,822)

LSU has really fallen down to the land of the have nots. Weird. I guess they are trying to pay for Les Miles buyout.

Not so sure about aTm. Think they are playing hide the ball.

I think Saban has Moses' support staff -- when they hit the ground they turn into snakes.
