So what is your favorite razor and shaving cream? (Or electric razor?)

I dont currently use an electric, but I have in the past.

My current razor is the Schick Hydro 5. I really like those. I get an 8 pack for $17 on Amazon subscribe. So $2.13 for a blade I can use all week.

And currently I am using the Nivea Men sensitive gel. I freaking hate it. I've tried that Cremo... hate it. My favorite cream is a caffeinated cream by Pacific Shaving Company. I need to get more. Anyone ever use sandalwood stuff?

I used to use a Gillette Trac-II forever ...but once those went to heaven I had to choose a different route.
I went with a Schick Hydro 5 as well... doesn't seem to get the tight spaces like the Trac II could.
And I'm glad you mentioned Amazon ...'cause those cartridges ain't cheap.

Caffeinated cream you say?!? Need to try that...i just use the everyday Edge Gel stuff.

Wouldn't it just be easier to buy SQ an electric razor for you?
It's perfect for all those NASCAR events...and if we decided on a QB for the fall...well there you go.

Recently got a tube of Cremo and like how smooth it leaves my skin after I shave. It seems to reduce any pulling. I have sensitve skin and if I'm not careful I wind up with like diaper rash on my face, even with most gels. The Hydro 5 gives a pretty close shave.

Yeah... here is the hydro. 8 pack on subscribe is $16.97. And I have it on a 2 month subscription... so it is perfect. I agree though, I have hard time with these right around my lips and adam's apple.

For whatever reason... I get an ultra close shave with this stuff and zero irritation. Truly ZERO. It goes on ultra thin, but your face is super slick. I seriously doubt the caffeine actually does anything. I found it on clearance at Target for like $2 and so I bought it. It's the best cream I have ever used.

I only have to shave once every two or three days.

You can change the subscription to get a pack every month. So then it's just a blade a week.

I have had to shave daily since I was 13.... so I grew a beard.

This is what I use - Gillette 10 pack disposable.

I really hate shaving so I'm happy to be in the same boat as Squatch - don't have to shave but 2x per week. And I rarely use shaving cream (takes too much time) - a little hot water on the face after getting out of the shower usually does the trick. But when I do use shaving cream, I prefer the Barbasol original.

And I rarely use shaving cream (takes too much time) - a little hot water on the face after getting out of the shower usually does the trick. But when I do use shaving cream, I prefer the Barbasol original.

Bart - you're old school. Why not just use a straight razor and one of those brushes to stir up a batch of shaving cream?

Electric here. Every time I tried to change to a razor, I'd break out too much, too often. Been using the same Braun for years. Matter of fact, just ordered new blade last week. Change it every 12-18 months.
