The Ohio State-Penn State rivalry is an intense one, and as the two teams prepare to square off this weekend, a Penn State fan has done something to offend Ohio State coach Urban Meyer’s wife, Shelley.

As you can see in the since-deleted tweet below, she calls a shirt that says “Urban Liar” the “lowest thing I have ever seen from a fan base.”

That is pretty ironic considering she quote-tweeted an Ohio State fan calling Penn State “Ped U,” referring to the Jerry Sandusky scandal:

Naturally, the original tweet from the Ohio State fan featured plenty of PSU fans responding with pictures of signs making light of the Sandusky scandal being held up by Buckeye supporters.

Both scandals have been ugly, and it’s probably for the best for each fanbase to avoid making references to the other’s problems. Fat chance that happens, though.
