Yeah those 08,09, and of course the greatest class of all time,2010 brought us numerous titles....
Mac's first class, last years, has already won more than those classes, and is the building block of a multiple championship foundation. Jefferson, Calloway, Scarlett, Cronkrite, Ivey and the rest of the offensive line guys will go places Meyer's greatest class(2010:shake:) never did IMO, and this class will only add to their hardware.
I like this post, but has this always been your opinion?

The Gators need good talent, that is certain, but I think player development is even more important. What can he do with the talent he has? Judging by this year, the future looks bright. They just need to keep their recruiting efforts up in the top 10.

Actually the 2007's didn't really contribute that much either in regards to championships,....Rainey, Brantley and such...Mac knows how to build a program....I'm not sure he is the best game manager/play caller...

Rainey & Scam didn't do much of anything......The rest did their share....I guess Dunlap gets a pass until he ****ed us. It my belief last years class will know greater success....

Rainey didn't contribute? He and Demps jump started our deadly running game that propelled us to an MNC.

Rainey had over 600 yards rushing in 2008 and averaged 7.8 ypc. In 2011, his last year at Florida, he had 861 rushing and 381 receiving...
I'll bet 500 of those were at the end of blowouts in 2008....I wouldn't debate there were some very good players from 07, my point is most of our glory run came from the 04 to 06 classes.

And he ended up being a typical thug like many of Urbs crew. I'll be just fine with it if we never recruit another 5'7 170 lb RB.
I'll go even further and say our water boy's should be at least 5'9" and 180#....

He was also the team MVP in 2011. He's also the all-time gator leader in blocked kicks.

The Pouncey's were the backbone of the line through our championship in 2008 and almost again in 2009.

Wow!!!! 50 yards a game huh? Move over Eugene Mc Caslin.

He was perfectly suited for that Urbs offense. We would kill for the ypc averages he posted in any of his years at UF. Well, AH would anyway...
