It's on the team to get lined up, then the holder to communicate with Eddie and the snapper to make sure everyone's ready. Once he gives the ok, it's on the snapper to get the play run in time. Eddy has almost nothing to do with it besides taking his steps and nodding to the holder.

I would think it would be on the coaching staff to coach him up on that. Heck they might even convince him in the NFL where many more games are decided by a few points, that each field goal attempt is very valuable.
