Yes he did. In his press conference the day he stepped down as the HBC of our Gators. He said "Call us cocky. Call us crybabies. Call us whiners. At least they're not calling us losers anymore. If people like you too much, it's probably because they're beating you."

Love that man. He was the best. THE BEST!!!
