He's coached there for 10 years, taken his team to 10 bowl games, has a .700+ winning percentage, has had lots of solid wins over big-name programs (ask Bob Stoops, Mack Brown and Charlie Strong). A defensive coach but has success offensively. Can develop talent (turned Ziggy Ansah from someone who never heard of football into a top 5 pick in the NFL draft in 3 years). Runs a clean program. He's always said he didn't plan on being a career guy at BYU.
Definitely outside the box, but a coach with a track record of success - any thoughts??
