I agree. I doubt they get a big name coach but if we don't get Freeze we probably will not get someone from the very top names either.

Obviously McElwain mentioned for UF in the past.

I agree. I doubt they get a big name coach but if we don't get Freeze we probably will not get someone from the very top names either.

As others have noted well, getting a top name is usually note Foley's style. We shop at Big Lots for coaches and come home with Zookers.

Jerry Kill is a damn good coach. Just a shame about his health issues. He's a guy that does more with less.

Scott Frost is probably the guy who gets it. He's a former player with some coaching success.

Just a small FYI: there is an article in today's Ft. worth Star Telegram speaking to how recruits in Texas are ranking both TCU and Baylor as their top choices over other schools in and around the state. Patterson and Briles should enjoy great recruiting classes as the result of their successes this year, and for Briles, the added bonus of the brand new stadium and football facilities at BU.

Possibly but I doubt they would announce a hire before Thursday or Friday.
