We're obviously not a great team, but the stats do not accurately show our true position. Because the cupcake game was canceled, we probably have the toughest strength of schedule in the country up to this point in the season. Our true rankings would not be as bad as these stats show.

so we are really in a tight competition with Vandy for having the worst offense in the conference. I guess we'll find out for sure who the worst is tomorrow.

Don't forget Misery. Or USCe. Hell, the whole SECEast is simply bad. Bad, bad, bad.

I think that was the point of bringing up the conference stats. UT and UK certainly aren't the toughest conference opponents, and yet we're still near the bottom of the conference in most statistical categories.

Edit: near the middle

Wrong, our stats dont currently reflect how ****ty we are going to be once we have a few injuries. As little talent as we have, we are paper thin at many positions and the backups are far worse.

How sad pumperdom must be when the try to spin Tinerc and Kintucky as a tough schedule.

Both of those teams are currently listed as having statistically better offenses than us.

However, I did dig a bit deeper. None of Mizzou's points were scored by defense or special teams, so as of now, their offense is legitimately better than ours on paper. South Carolina on the other hand has had 2 special teams touchdowns to boost up their points/game stat (as we've had 3 defensive touchdowns boost our stat). I did the math and South Carolina is currently averaging 14.5 points/game offensively. We are averaging 16.6 points/game offensively.

So we are currently the third worst offense in the SEC instead of second worst barely behind Muschamp and Vandy; however, the stats are still pretty close, and we could possibly be dead last by the end of Saturday. Either way, we still suck something awful.

Statistically, before we played Ky, they were #1 against the run, were they not? Stats change depending on who you play week to week...

Using conference games for a level playing field:

UF sixth in SEC in total offense.

UF eighth in SEC in total defense

It ain't good, but no point in stacking the deck.

The problem is the SEC East is one of the worst two P5 division in all of football.

That is true and, as you suggest, does skew the numbers slightly in the Gators favor However, I am sure that you understand all the other numbers are skewed far worse.
Incidentally, can some of you explain why I got 3 dislikes for merely posting the facts? I assume that means s
that the three of you simply dislike reality. There are treatments for that although they are not always successful.

If I put some ketchup, Dijon mustard, and a little oil & vinegar on a sh!t sandwich, guess what? It's still a sh!t sandwich.

Screw stats and rankings. Use your eyes and common sense. We struggled against Tennessee and Kentucky...KENTUCKY!

I recognize you quoted a post about SOS to date, so I'm assuming those are the 10 hardest schedules, to date. But there is no context beyond that to explain what the 16.2 or 1 or 5 or 1 are meaning. Not even a link as to where this came from.

I only criticize because it is a partial message, flooded with numbers where readers are left to guess the meaning. It looks like some crap that *I* would post, not you.
