Was at the game last night for Tebow's Birthday, Mets were winning handley when we left after the 7th inning stretch (singing happy birthday to Tebow). Got a lot of good pictures. Will be at the next 3 (7 game home stand for the Threshers, we are going to all 7). The stadium was pretty full. He looks thinner and most baseball "shape" than football shape.

Just an update, Tebow played DH the last two nights after playing Left Field on Monday. got walked once on Tuesday, I don't believe he got on base last night. The Mets won Monday (12-7) and Tuesday (5-4) and lost last night (6-4). Last Night, Mets setup pitcher plunked two batters in a row, then started to cuss out the second one. Then the manager from the Mets walked out talked to the pitcher, then started cussing out Blue, then got tossed. The manager's melt down after getting tossed was epic for those close enough to hear it.

Which would squirt through for a hit.

The crowd was very happy about an infield single.

He would score later that inning. Funny that a guy who's scored so much has never truly "scored."

There's that long throwing motion!

Dude Barry Bonds won 8 Gold Gloves and had a great arm. The Sid Bream play was almost entirely due to poor pre-pitch positioning.

I read an article years ago about that play. Van slyke wanted Barry to play more shallow than he was since the batter didn't have much pop. Barry apparently gave old Andy the finger , and the rest is history . Nevertheless when Barry got the ball sid was rounding third . A good throw and he's toast . I can still remember AVS laying in center in tears after that one. One of the best game 7's in MLB history

I moved to Marietta in "83 and back then you could go to a game at Fulton County and empty your shotgun in any direction without fear of hitting anyone. My boss got tickets to the "92 game 7 behind home plate. That was one of the most exciting moments I can recall at a baseball game. We heckled Bonds the entire game. With a good throw, Bonds had Bream by at least a step. Bonds throw was terrible, wide up the first base side by a least 8 feet.The most satisfying part of the night was watching Bonds and Van Slyke sitting in the outfield on their gloves for what seemed like forever before running into the clubhouse.

Last night St. Lucie won (6-4 in 10 innings). Tebow had 5 at bats with 1 strike out, one walk, zero hits, and left 6 on base. He did reach base on fielder's choice, second baseman throw home to stop a run from scoring. Mets manager did have another entertaining melt down.
