Maybe based upon initial recruiting, but I'd say we are better than 15 talent wise. But yeah, 2012 was probably loaded, although as I recall we weren't terribly deep scholarship player wise and eventually were riddled with injuries.

You follow this stuff closer than I do. And again I'm not basing it on recruiting rankings. But from various things I've heard / read - our defensive talent is pretty good - very good D line, and we always seem to be good with DBs. WRs are loaded. OL and RBs not so much. QB is kind of a wild card

Trask was I think a 2 star, and I imagine drags down recruiting weighted average rankings, but while not top tier he's better than a lot of qbs out there.

Can’t overstate the impact on recruits in the stadium. That atmosphere will not be matched anywhere else they visit.

In a very strange look for me, I was actually confident the defense would hold on. I usually expect riots, fires, and mudslides, but I thought as long as the O didn't give them ANOTHER short field they'd win it.
