I got roasted on another board for posting this but, with the rumors swirling of Mac leaving. Who is on Scott Stricklin's list...

PJ Fleck

Les Miles

Chip Kelly

Dan Mullen

Bobby Petrino

Charlie Strong

Lane Kiffen

Josh McDaniels

I think Fleck would be one of my first calls and great for years to come. Who would you like to see as the head coach if Mac bolts?

You a 247 or Swamp guy?

Cause 247 guys are chill; Swamp guys - Better be prepared for negativity and bashing cause we dont ban people for that here.

Either way...welcome and get an Avatar; there are no "safe spaces" here so enjoy.

As for your post. Take Strong, Miles, McDaniels, and Kiff off the list and Im good with the rest of the names. Although I'd add Fuente, Franklin, Wittinham, and Peterson

This is a sad, list...

PJ Fleck, not enough P5 experience
Les Miles, 1950's offensive style, better suited for the Big 10
Chip Kelly, Not leaving the NFL
Dan Mullen, really? With a qb that could be rookie of the year couldn't do great things
Petrino, Louisville buyout, and lack of defense
Strong.... see Texas
Kiffen... See Tennessee, Oakland, and USC
McDaniels, NFL guy...

The amount of attention Fleck is getting is ludicrous. The guy has been a HC all of what, 3 years? No thanks.

But Fleck gets his players to love each other. It's what the current generation goes for.

And welcome 1906. Buckle up, this place is a great ride.

Same could be said about Urban before we hired him; not comparing the two but that's a fact.

Chip might be forced to come back to college ain't no one else out there to hire him if he gets fired.

Mullen does more with less at MSU but def wouldn't be in my top five.

The rest I agree with

I saw the ESPN piece they did on Fleck. It was pretty impressive. Row the boat. It is a hire I could get behind.

GM will go first, but next year Kelly will be on the job market.

What did he truly accomplish that hasn't been accomplished by others before him?

The rest I agree with

It was a nice piece... but it was meant as a sales pitch.

Well, I'm sold. What he's done at WMU is nothing short of remarkable. Someone will give him a shot.

Foley needs to stay out of the kitchen on this next hire. His input is worthless.

I dont disagree about Mac which is why I hated the hire.
He has kept MSU more successful than many that's all
That's what I believe about Kelly also

If you don't get an avatar quickly, one will be provided for you which you might not like. That's how I got mine, but I happen to love it. :D

this season has been impressive, in his fourth season,
Career at UWM: 1-11, 8-5, 8-5, 12-0... 1-1 in bowl games.

I would put Kiffin #1 on the list. He has put up wih Satan for 3 years and has humbled himself. He wants nothing more than to kick Saban's / UT's ASS. He can recruit.
