I think you're being a bit insensitive. There's two things I can't stand in this world: people who are intolerant of other people's cultures...

    ...and the DUTCH!!

Unless we have a "Muschampion season" our o-line class is going to be really good. Davis is busting his a$$ off on the trail and I think we'll land 1 or 2 of our top targets by the end of the summer.

From what's out there Davis seems to be connecting with these kids and recruiting the position really well so we'll see what happens over the summer.

I don't spend much time contemplating this stuff, but The Austin Powers movies probably rank in or near my top 5 of favorites.

This is what pisses me off, if Mac had fired Nuss we would be seeing better results recruiting the QB position. We will never land another top guy as long as he's here. Mac obviously kept the guy to save his own ass next year by letting him go.

Especially if better OCs are easier to lure to Gainesville than HCs. Nuss has had a fair amount of unfair years at UF...
go make someplace else look like it shouldn't.

Would love to get this kid, DT Rick Sandidge....but he has a "top 11":

    https://www.seccountry.com/florida/rick-sandidge-florida-gators

    Latest on Rick Sandidge
In the Class of 2017, Florida signed a North Carolina recruit (T.J. Moore) for the first time in three years.

The Gators landed a handful of prospects from the Tar Heel State under former coach Will Muschamp. Now they’re battling him for Rick Sandidge, a 4-star defensive from Concord, N.C.

Sandidge visited Florida on April 22 and named the Gators in his top 11 on May 1, along with Florida State, Georgia, LSU, Miami, Michigan, North Carolina, North Carolina State, Ohio State, South Carolina and Virginia Tech.

“It’s high,” Sandidge said of his interest level in the Gators.

Florida defensive line coach Chris Rumph got in contact with Sandidge three months ago and made a big impression on him during his trip to Gainesville.

“When I went down there I had a great conversation with Coach Rumph,” Sandidge said. “That was my first time meeting him and I liked him. He keeps it straight forward with you. I’m sure our relationship will grow a lot.”

The facility upgrades at Florida also stood out to Sandidge. The Gators built an indoor practice facility in 2015 and will break ground on a stand-alone football complex this December.

“It’s a great place,” Sandidge said of Florida. “I had a good time when I went. They were talking about getting their weight room changed and building a facility. There was just all this new stuff and I liked that.”

A 6-foot-5, 290-pound prospect, Sandidge said South Carolina and North Carolina are recruiting him the hardest, and it appears the Gamecocks are the team to beat.

Sandidge plans to visit LSU, Michigan, Michigan State and Ohio State this summer and wants to take as much as time as he can before making a decision, which will be based on his relationship with coaches.

“It really doesn’t matter what schools have as far as tradition,” Sandidge said. “It’s about the staff that’s going to be there for the next three-four years.”

Sandidge is the nation’s No. 12 defensive tackle and No. 113 overall prospect in the 247Sports composite rankings.

    News & notes
    • Jashaun Corbin, a 3-star running back from Melbourne, Fla., de-committed from Tennessee on Tuesday, just over three weeks after giving his pledge to the Vols on April 21. Florida continued recruiting Corbin after his decision and visited him this spring, but Florida State is considered the favorite to land the 6-foot, 190-pound prospect.
    • The Gators offered a pair of 2019 offensive linemen from Buford, Ga., on Tuesday: tackle Carter Colquitt (6-6, 295) and guard Riley Simonds (6-4, 280). It’s the first SEC offer for both Colquitt and Simonds.

A couple of head scratchers here. I know, our coaches are better at evaluating talent than any other coaching staffs and we can afford to take 2-stars and low level 3's:

The Gators had a big day in the Peach State on Tuesday, sending out offers to three:

Sent offers to 3 Buford (Ga.) High players in 2019 OL Harry Miller, Riley Simonds and Carter Colquitt.

Miller is a 6-foot-4, 310-pound offensive tackle who holds offers from 8 teams, including Texas A&M and South Carolina.

Simonds, a 6-foot-4, 280-pound offensive guard, also holds offers from Florida Atlantic and Virginia Tech.

Colquitt is the least recruited of the three. Outside of the Gators, his lone offer so far has come from Toledo.

I'm not positive, but I think he's telling Nuss to take a hike and go ruin someone else's team...:dunno:

UF offers JUCO DE Dorian Gerald (his JUCO profile lists him at 6'3 250lbs):

Has offers from UF, FSU, Alabama, USCe, Texas Tech, UGA, Oklahoma, Tenn and about 10 others:

    http://www.gatorcountry.com/feature/gerald-knows-of-playing-time-at-uf-florida-gators-recruiting/

    Gerald knows of playing time
    at UF: Florida Gators recruiting

One of the biggest positions of needs for the Florida Gators recruiting class of 2018 is finding a pass rushing defensive end.

On Monday the Gators went out and offered one of the top JUCO’s in 2018 when they offered defensive end Dorian Gerald (6-3, 225, Santa Clarita, CA. College of the Canyons) after a phone call with Florida.

“Coach [Drew] Hughes asked me to call him and then he offered when I called,” Gerald said of who offered him from Florida. “I was in class when he first DM’ed me and told me to give him a call. Me and Coach [Chris] Rumph have been in contact for a little bit now and then everybody followed me from Florida on Twitter so I knew something was up.”

When Gerald called Hughes, the Gators assistant offered him and explained that Florida needed him in Gainesville.

“When I called him he introduced himself to me and he said that he thinks that one of if not the best pass rushers in junior college right now,” he said of Hughes’ message to him. “I told him that it was an honor to hear that and he spoke to me about how I could come in and make an impact at Florida. He’s been around a lot of great players so for him to think that I could come in and make an impact was an honor.”

Gerald is also expected to talk to the rest of the Gators staff including defensive coordinator Randy Shannon soon.

“I’m supposed to get on the phone with the rest of the staff today [Tuesday],” Gerald said. “They want me to get on the phone with the defensive coordinator and talk about some of the schemes they run and stuff like that. They’re in need of defensive ends so they want to talk about that too.”
The JUCO defensive end hasn’t visited Florida yet but he already has a personal connection with defensive line coach Chris Rumph.

“My big thing with everyone is building relationships so we’ve just been talking and building that,” he said of his talks with Rumph. “I really figured out that Coach Rumph is from the same area I am. My mother actually knows him and she says that they’re great people. I trust my mom.”

Gerald has picked a lot of big offers recently but he says that the Florida offer speaks for itself because of the Gators history on defense.

“It means a lot, Florida is a great program,” Gerald said of his Florida offer. “They are known for having a great defense and I play defense and I’m on the defensive side of the ball so that means everything. I don’t know a lot about Florida but I’m going to start doing some research.”

The next few weeks Gerald plans to research more schools and he hopes to narrow his choices down soon.

“I’m going to release my top schools on June 1st,” he said. “I don’t have a date that I want to commit, it will just be when my heart tells me that I’m ready. It could be at any time.”

INSIDERS TAKE: South Carolina seems to be the team to beat early on but visits will be key. The Gators are working hard on getting Gerald on campus this summer and if that happens, Florida could get in the mix because of Rumph’s relationship with his family. Gerald has three years to play and will graduate in January.

1st we had Muschamp a clear UGA mole sent to dismantle our offense and now we have Mac offering and bringing in talent that shouldn't even be in the Sec. Who is in bed with that he's doing such things, Bama, FSU, possibly UGA has him on their books to finish us off as a program. I'm not sure but something sure does seem fishy with all these offers he's been giving out lately.

Jk but still some are real head scratchers as to why we offered kids with 1 offer on the table but I guess there has to be a big name school to start the trend might as well be us

If he ends being heavily recruited, he'll wind up in Athens. Snellville is probably like 40 miles from there.
