E.Jones' highlights were nice, but what's his long-going completion%, his passing Y/G, his TDs vs INTs
his Run yards/attempt, his # of TD runs/game.?? Highlights never show weaknesses. Does he have any we should be wary of? He looks fast, which is an extra good for a running QB.

Once this is official, Swonkey owes an awful lot of apologies.

He could start by apologizing to me. He was nasty even after I asked if NCAA penalties might alter usual rules.
We shall see. Im only aware of one other amd Saban beyothed for months about it.

here's what you need to know, Saban and Cryer want him. no one wanted Corral.

I posted what OSU & Meyer saw in him. Still, why the hell are his stats unavailable? No recruiter worth anything would tell his HC to trust Meyer's thinking and go all in for this your QB. No recruiter would evaluate a player from only the highlight films out there. He is perfect in highlights ... never throws INTs,
never even overthrows, never underthrows, etc. What's needed is year-long consistency that only shows up in reading the stats.

Strong, accurate arm. Throws well even rolling left. Sees the field. Polished (not a project). Actually don't see that Corral is any better as a passer. Runs a 4.77 40.
Needs to add 20 lbs of muscle.

Don't know why Maxpreps doesn't have his stats right. Otherwise I see a 6 TD game. A 12 for 19 338 yard game.

If we land Jones, it is a huge shot across the bow of all the other top teams that we may be back.

It will be a helluva way for Mullinz to start the first class.

When he does, and Jones signs elsewhere, that will bring to an end a convoluted quarterback recruiting situation that saw the Buckeyes trying to secure the commitment of Jones , who was once regarded as a composite five-star prospect, through this fall. Somewhere along the line, that relationship changed. And Ohio State changed its quarterback priorities.

On paper, Jones would have been the best quarterback recruit Urban Meyer had signed since coming to Columbus, just narrowly edging out Tate Martell, who signed last year.
