Actually this was a big deal with me. I seriously considered transferring to Dish Network if DirecTV did not pick up the SEC Network.

I talked to DirecTV today via chat, and the guy said they just began discussions, but plan to offer it on the choice and above packages.

I just checked to see if my "sports" package was good enough to get the SEC network. It is. I really didn't want to have to buy another package to get this.

I don't. It's on right now. Channel 408. I get Longhorn and Little Ten so I don't think it's a regional thing.

Yea I got it too. I think it comes with the next package up from the basic package

Some real good stuff on it so far, Heisman/SEC special was good, even though they slobbered on Manziel's knob at the end and completely omitted George Rogers.

Don't forget the Spurrier flick debuts on it Wednesday at 8 PM EST......
