Third shot into the bunker. I think I'll just close the thread.

JFC 78. Why didn’t you just throw something at him during his backswing?

He has the talent to do it again but he’s gonna have to get a ton more precise off the tee at next year’s majors. The young guys bomb it and he can’t scramble and win. He scrambled magnificently today but it wasn’t enough against a brute like Koepka.

True statement. The game has changed. The young guys are into hitting the gym and sports nutrition, and you can see it. Koepka is built like a strong safety.

Tiger used to be as well. He’s lost weight and muscle mass. His mass contributed to his back issues.

He looks the same physically to me and his back issues are more structural than muscular. This was probably his best shot at another major. I doubt it happens now.

You prompted me to look. Sure enough, a lot of talk about his having overbulked and needing to get back to his 2000 sinewy self. Good call, Nevada.

I think that’s also when he started (rumored) using HGH. If so, that also contributed to his issues. Remember, he was on the list with Peyton and many others.
