If you weren't able to watch last Friday, the U.S. men went across the pond and won an exciting 4-3 game in which they were down 3-1 in the 2nd half against the Netherlands. They have another huge game on the 10th against the World's #1 team, Germany. It will be a lot harder escaping Cologne with a win.
I'll admit, I am not a huge women's sports fan, but I usually watch the U.S. women in the world cup. It's on Fox Sports 1 if you are interested, tied 1-1. Rapinoe (USA) scored early for the U.S. off of a deflection, but Australia answered back with a goal of their own.
