So the UF has a home game this week AGAINST A TEAM THAT FIRED ITS COACH and yet opened a 1 point dog and has moved to +2.5 or +3. Consider that, a university that views its team is so disappointing they fired their coach after 4 games is favored over UF IN THE SWAMP.

It may not surprise you in the moment and I am not saying I am surprised, but step back. Imagine almost any time in the last 30 years, would you have guessed this would be possible. Heck, can you think of any other example any time in history of a team that fired its coach during the season going on the road being favored against a team of similar stature?

I think UF may well win. McElwain teams play poorly against FAU, UMass and particularly Vandy. So the players may be enough this week. That does not change the fact that LSU has played so poorly this season that the fired their coach, yet are favored of a ranked UF team in the Swamp!

It might be different if it was a 7:30 kickoff and we knew the Swamp would be rocking and the players would be able to feed off of that enthusiasm.

This noon kickoff almost negates the home field advantage. The only bright side I can think of is that for the LSU players, it's going to feel like 11:00 AM.

Considering how they looked versus how we looked last week, I'd say that's why. That plus our injury concerns and Fournette being active.

Whoever set that line needs to have their head examined I think. LSU should be -7 minimum imo. It is college football however.

It opened up in the Sportsbook at Florida +2.5 yesterday. Head on over and get some action on either side.

Pretty cool huh? It's just awesome to be part of this experience. That's why we do this, to play in these situations. Isn't it neat? Just give us another opportunity, you know we have 15 of'em...I'm pretty sure.

Did I miss any?

This is embarrassing. At home against an unranked team and we're dogs against a team with an interim HC. I guess I should be used to embarrassment by now as a Gator fan.
