Homestead High School football coach Ahmad Ward did not mince words. He’s banning a Florida Gators recruiter from visiting his school.

Apparently the coach just deleted his twitter account. What a 'tard!

There are a lot of ways to handle things, but this low-rent coach went to twitter to express his unhappiness w/ Nord. Hopefully some good will come of this, and McElwain will give Nord the boot!! :D

So the most substantial thing is the derogatory headlines he created. He names the school, and really doesn't get specific with facts. Just alludes in ambiguous ways. Suspicious he doesn't name the recruiter since he's so eager to let the world know something bad happened and unnamed is banned.. It's Twitter, so easy to do hit and run damage and then delete it.

I smell a rat. And there are so many to choose from. If he was serious, he'd also call Mac , and I'd expect him to contact the recruiter. But instead he did an ambush. No he didn't ban the school, he just created the first impression that he did and that UF sucks. Not his fault right if ppl get it wrong.

Ward isn't real bright. He threw his school administration under the bus as well. He tweeted "Glad my admin don't really care about athletics". After someone tweeted that his school board and principle probably wouldn't like that being said Ward deleted the tweet.

We have not given a single offer to any 2017, 2018 or 2019 Homestead athletes.
