I think Nussmeier is a good hire. Mac is going to have to hire who is the best available that he feels comfortable working with. In the SEC, as everyone knows, you have to be able to run the ball. Saban has always had a good mix of the run and the pass. The following comments by Saban, referred to in a post and article above, are interesting to actually listen to.

We do have the personnel.... You say we don't because it's been hidden the last 4 years. There is loads of talent waiting to be developed

I have to agree with this. I don't truly believe we've really seen what our skill position players are capable in a well run well organized system coached by guys who can develop players. That being said I hope they got some kind of magic potion to rub all over the offensive line.
