OL definitely needs to improve, but how much are last year's stats affected by defenses loading the box with little threat of a good passing game after TH took over?

Not really sure on that but it did seem like in some of those later games they weren't really stacking the line that much because they could stop our running game even dropping a good amount of players into coverage.

Yeah, we started seeinv three man fronts with floded zones and robbers watching the QBs eyes.

The truth is when your OL sucks, any defense works.

Any defense works? We had receivers open damn near every time Treon dropped back. He didn't have the balls to get rid of the ball.

Getting rid of the ball quickly was a strength for Grier. He knew he one to two counts at most to get rid of the ball or, run. Treon did not comprehend that he had to make a quick decision to throw or run. Del Rio was making quick decision in the Orange and Blue game and that was a good sign. He will have to make quick decisions this season and either throw fast or run...

T, this is a myth. Sure, WR's were "open"....because they were literally no threat to the D. If we had a decent QB....and decent OL....the Defense would not have let our WR's run "open damn near every time" our QB dropped back. People act like the D would have played the same exact way if we were a legit threat to pass the ball. Just because they were open w/ Harris at QB does not mean they'd be as open w/ a different QB.

True but even when they started to respect the pass with Grier, we had guys open alot.
