I was really impressed with both Muschamp and Foley in the press conference.

Muschamp says he has no hard feelings. Says he was treated right and treated fairly.

Foley said fans passion can cut both ways. But it is fan passion that makes UF special.

Foley says he has not talked to anyone. They will not disrupt anyone's season.

Proud of Muschamp for the man he is and cleaning up the off the field issues, sadly he just couldn't get over the hump on the field

Foley asked if it will just be him doing the search. He says it will not just be him. He will use his internal staff and hasn't decided about external firm. Decision will be made my Machen and Foley and Fuchs will have a role as well.

Scary freaking thought. Our AD was considering keeping him for a fifth season. Take basketball out of the equation, Billy D isn't going anywhere.

I know this is a moot point, but he should have been fired even if he ran the table (the only exception would be if we won our games in "exciting" fashion). I think Foley (but not Muschamp) recognizes that fans don't want to see boring close games versus either inferior or somewhat similar opponents.

I hate that it didn't work out with Muschamp but he's been a stand up guy throughout. Frustrating since our defense has been so good the entire time. Just wish he could have fielded a more attacking, aggressive offense. Guess its just not in his DNA. Just simply afraid to throw the football.
