I still don't buy that Meyer had anything remotely definitive that Hernandez was involved in that shooting. There's no debating the guy has character issues and allowed way too much to go on. So this is not about defending him. But when this took place, Hernandez was an EE-Freshman who'd never even played a game, and was a backup to Ingram. You really think he looked the other way on attempted murder, putting his entire life on the line, for that? Maybe, I guess. Just don't see it.
As for the opening article, that wouldn't surprise me at all. AH was a savage that Meyer used while he was here, but undoubtedly had no interest in once he was moving on. I could even see him doing it out of spite, just because he probably didn't want him to go.
