I'm taking the over!

https://www.seccountry.com/florida/...ountryUF&utm_source=Twitter&utm_medium=Social

As revealed by ESPN on Thursday, CG Technology released season win total projections for about 50 college football teams, including the Florida Gators.

And if you believe the Las Vegas-based sportsbook operator, the Gators are going win 8 games in the 2017 regular season, which doesn’t include potential conference championships or bowl games. This number is tied with Auburn and Georgia for the third-most wins among the 12 SEC teams on the list behind Alabama (10.5) and LSU (9). Ole Miss and Vanderbilt were not included in this list.

Second poll... how many posts before this turns into a thread about Mac sucking....? I say 10 (Over/Under)

I personally think over as well. If that team last year can win 9 then this team certainly can win at least that much.

They clearly dont understand the vast improvement in offensive talent and superior play calling we have going on.

Weird, I thought was evident to everyone. I heard it right here, from two people.

8-4 regular season sounds about right. If we back into the slaughter in Atlanta again, then 8-5 headed to the Consolation Bowl. Hopefully, we'll get matched up with one of the few offenses worse than us again like last year.:headbang:

9, or the season is a failure. Home games against the tougher opponents and our 3 away games are (KY, MO and USCe).

Actually, it's 10 wins or the season is a failure. I'm tired of mediocrity. Between Meat Chicken, LSU, and Clown U we should win at least one, and we shouldn't lose to anyone else. If we lose more than that (as many on this board believe will happen) then I will consider the season a failure.

Good prediction by Vegas. I'll be pleasantly surprised if we go over. Unfortunately going under wouldn't be as surprising.

Seems like every year our over/under prediction for wins is 7-8 wins. My how the mighty have fallen. It's hard for me to see more than 8 wins and I'm leaning more towards 7. The first game will set the tone for the season I think and as of right now I just don't see us beating Michigan, cause of our huge ? at QB. Hopefully they'll surprise me, but I'm just not seeing it.

I remember back in my undergrad days...the glory days of the Fun & Gun...my friends and I used to look at the schedule before every season. My roommate would read off the opponent and the rest of would say "win...win...win...win..." all the way down the schedule until the FSU game. If it was home, we'd chalk up one more win, if was in Tallacrappy we'd say probable loss. It's a shame how much we have fallen. It used to be that we expected to win just about every game, no matter who the opponent was.

The only question was would the first TD be in less than 2 minutes and how much over 50 would we go.

Zaire we win 8 or 9 regular season I think. If Franks starts I think we could drop to 7 wins.

Mac should be fired after the game if we lose to Michigan, they return 4 starters on offense and 1 starter on defense. If Mac can't beat an elite coach that only return 5/22 staters then he will never beat the elite coaches which means no championships so why keep him at that point. I don't believe he beats Michigan either. We should have the better talent than them but I see Mac wetting the bed once the game starts. He reminds me of Henry Winkler character in The Waterboy, he gets scared and don't know what to do when he faces the elite coach.

I missed a lot of TDs at the beginning of the games I walked in late on, which was just about every one. Yes, I was a lazy student/alumni who didn't show up until after kickoff. Fond memories still tailgaiting or walking toward The Swamp and hearing 'Heeeeeeeeeeeeeeeerrrrrrrrrrrrrrre Come the Gators!' as the game kicked off and racing to get in before that first score.
