Live in Jacksonville so I have always loved seeing the P-3's flying around. Used to eat lunch by the runway to watch the touch and go's.

My father was on a P-2V in Korea.
You're Dad and my Dad may have known each other as naval pilots in the Korean war. My family lived in Pensacola and Jax from 59 into the early 60s, I was actually born in California in 64, then we moved back to Jax until 69.

USA 1985-1998, then some Other Government stuff.
Enjoy the rest of your day fellas, and remember Remembrance/Armistice Day for all our allies today... it's their Memorial Day.

I missed this thread yesterday but I also want to thank everyone who has served.

And I want to remind everyone that the greatest threat facing them is suicide. There have been more than 125,000 veteran suicides since 1999. We need to do everything we can to help.

God bless you all.

As a defense contractor, it's been an honor supporting the men and women who do the real work. Happy late Veterans Day!

Now go enjoy the free buffet at Golden Corral

Thats a big Lake.

Lake Atlantic. It was fun standing atop the sail next to the flag and watching dolphins swim aside the hull then leap over the bow. We thought we were fast but they humbled us with their awesome power and athleticism.

There are not enough thank yous that can be said to all you amazing men and women. Growing up a Navy brat, I know how difficult it is on family life.

You should have all have a special red, white, and blue banner or something.
