Why did he spend the equivalent of 10 days doing community service? Turns out it was part of a plea deal Tago accepted last January, where he pleaded guilty to third-degree assault in order to get felony robbery charges dropped. Tago was arrested in Sept. 2016 after a man accused him of stealing a six pack from him on the street and hitting him in the head, apparently leaving him concussed. He was temporarily suspended by the school and team, and later ordered to serve 30 days in Whitman County jail and perform 240 hours of community service, which he has now earned an award for.

I guess he got recognized for being such a great community ambassador.

The west coast continues to try and redefine logical and fails miserably.

This takes the participation trophy mentality to an entirely new level.

Liberal west considers it helping the community getting beer off the streets. His moral character transmogrified.

This.
I live in the upper left corner and they love to hand out participation trophies.
That said, I’d like to hear Mike Leach’s comments on it - always good for a laugh or two.
