All of them that are over 200lbs should be moved over to the OL.

And we only recruited 2 DB's this year. Once they join the team we'll only have 18 defensive backs on the roster.
Yes, Mac clearly doesn't know how to recruit and build a program. Failing to land 5-6 DBs every year shows that.

I'm sure Fooley isn't happy with the direction of the program.

Isn't it kinda strange that Will Muschamp, a guy who believes in smashmouth football on offense and ONLY smashmouth football, would decline to recruit offensive lineman? It seems like he simply despised offense in general.

The main problem he had was nobody worth a damn wanted to play for his a$$.

I admit I'm worried about the lack of numbers on the O-Line but it's still early and I'll wait until I see how the True Freshmen look in the Fall before I go on Suicide watch...

It is really weird how we never were able to recruit OL under WM..... Even though he had several High Profile OL Assistant Coaches. Seems like Recruits would have recognized our lack of depth and equated that to early playing time, which most "experts" think is the motivating factor in young minds.

I think injuries and/or suspensions will determine if we break the 8 win plateau.

Question: Would 8 wins make you happy this year?

Agreed. 10 wins I would be happy.

Nothing short of a national championship will make me happy! Go big or go home, Baby!

JK. 9 wins would make me happy and 10 would make me ecstatic. I expect we will manage to squeeze in 7 or maybe 8.

Any scenario is contingent on having some serious luck with the OL and refraining from any major injuries. History has proved otherwise. Though, we've been so unlucky with injuries as of late, maybe we're due for one season where the luck bounces back our way. Not expectant but hopeful.

After the last few years... I honestly dont know. Remember that 11-2 season? We all knew something wasnt right. I think I'd be happy with 8 wins if I see a competent football team and an offense that is enjoyable to watch. Because if see those things... it's only a matter of time before the championships start rolling back in.

We should have put an add for a walk-on head coach last year.

It will be a miracle if we win 8. Much like this year's recruiting class, it will be measured by how much we improve and should be considered with how terrible the situation was he inherited.

You make a good point about being watchable. If we play Idaho , we'd have the same record as auburn but the perception of us and auburn is completely different.

Anyone know anything about this lineman. I see he is being offered by a lot of SEC schools including us now but the Florida article is VIP on 24/7. Can he sign up for the Fall and be in camp if he gets his AA degree and passes that exam Florida requires? I saw some other teams acting like he could play for them in the Fall possibly.

If you click on his name it appears that UF has offered and Summers is his recruiter.

It also says class of 2016.

Maybe next year.

It's odd how he has offers from other schools but there isn't a name tied to recruiting him for that school. It is like kids can get offers out of candy machines for a quarter. With schools offering 100+ per year, I guess they can.
