PUMP ON!!!!!!!!!!

Sure we're still in it. It's pretty obvious that Chimp has shown he's the man to turn this around. There has probably never been a coach more flexible and adaptable.

Why not shoot for the stars then? It's been widely discussed that a 2-loss team could emerge from the SEC and make the Final Four. That's still there for the taking as well.

If you're going to smoke crack, smoke crack.

Where in my statement did I say we would actually win the East? Were you smoking crack when you read my post?

That's generous. Matty Mauk destroyed our secondary last year.

You can call me a crack head too but I think there is a reasonable chance we win the rest of our SEC games. It has nothing to do with our skill level but the fact the other teams literally could be worse. Losing to terrible teams indiana and kentucky which we even managed to beat. Georgia is obviously the largest obstacle but even them have shown the ability to fall apart losing to that terrible USC team.

Yep.

They just got shut out...let's see how we handle that powerful offense. Similar to LSU's, who managed 7 points vs. Auburn?

It's a complete joke. If JD is the starter I'm not even going to watch it!

I don't know why everyone has a boner over Matty Mauk

Last year is he was 18-36, 1 td and 1 int against a horrible UF team. (I have already posted the rest of his stats from last year on another thread to lazy to do it again right now)

This year
He is 98-180 (54.4%), for 1207 yards, 14 tds and 8 interceptions.

Against SEC opponents
21-55 (38.2%) for 229 yards, and 0 td, 4 ints, and 5 sacks with a quarterback rating of 58.6.

Driskel against SEC opponents this year:
59-119 (49.6%) for 630 yards, 5 tds, 8 ints, 5 sacks with a quarterback rating of 94.5

So why does everyone who bashes Driskel so much, think Matty Mauck is so awesome?

No one has a boner for him. However, he threw for 300 yards against us last year and blew us out.... as a true freshman who hadn't stepped onto the field before... and against a better secondary.

He'll mop the floor with us again no matter how much he's struggled against other teams.

We make every opposing QB look like Dan Marino. This one will be no different.

Great post. As bad as we are people forget there are worse teams out there. Like Tenn, we can always count on that one. Normally a team that loses to Indiana we can pencil in as a win but not with Muschamp.

I wasn't implying that you were smoking crack. You and I basically said the same thing. I'm referring to the original comment in question.

It's crazy, imo, to think we can win out, when we've lost two SEC games and won the other two by a combined total of 7 points. But if you're going to make that statement, then why not go big? That was my point.

Kentucky 24-45 (53.3%) 295 yards, 3 td 3 ints for the season 122-199 (61.3%) 1586 yards 10 tds, 5 ints
Alabama 24-35 (68.6%) 449 yards, 5 tds 1 int for the season 122-182 (67%) 1732 yards 12 tds, 3 ints
Tennesse 26-39 (66.67%) 205 yards 0 tds 2 int for the season 146-234 (62.4%) 1427 yards 12 tds, 5 ints
LSU 10-22 (45.5%) 110 yards 1 td 0 ints for the season 84-162 (51.9%) 1435 yards 12 tds 4 ints

for a total of 84-141 (59.6%) 1059 yards (264.75 /game) 9 tds, 6 ints... real world beater type stats. Our pass defense has been bad, but making them into Dan Marino, only Alabama can state that.

Anybody watch the post-game Swampcast from Robbie and Pat? They didn't pump, pretty much said what you all saw. I didn't get to see the game. Glad, too.

Yeah, I'm afraid our shot will be over before long. Too many mistakes by the whole team...

I think we are talking about the probabilities of different outcomes. I think mostly like we will win 1 out of the 3 of Mizz, GA and USC. But there is still a chance that we win them all. Not because we are world beaters but because other teams screw up too. There is no shot that even if we win the East that we would beat the West champion.

There are some who have lost all grasp on reality simply because we suck, they forget there are other factors involved.
