What do you expect from the first game?

Surely some goodies will show through even agaist a cupcake:
1) tight spirals thrown
2) # of times hitting receivers in stride
3) long punts of good hang-time
4) great kick coverage
5) unexpected star-worth guys show up
6) few run out of bounds by QB
7) few blatant overthrows
8) maybe see new QBs of worth
9) RBs showing dominant skills
10) How good is our FG kicker (if he gets a try)
etc. etc.

Im going on record here that I think Mullen is gonna make us forget the last 10 years. He is gonna move the program
in the right direction and especially on offense. I honestly think he "gets it" about UF and the SEC. The man was here
and saw how it was done correctly in many ways to win. I think Dan is doing what it takes right now and this past summer
to get us where we want. Toughe,r stronger , more disciplined and smarter on offense. OF course this game will not solve it all or even
make it clear with what I said but I'm a patient and observant person. Dan took Miss St to another level (much like SOS did at uscE)
not the level we are happy with but it shows he can move what he had up. He will have WAY more advantages here, mainly we aint Starkville.

Absolutely. Maybe I'll be labeled a pumper, and so be it, but it feels a lot like before. I have hopes we will be in Atlanta, but will not think the season a failure if we don't get there and win. I think we come out and shock the nation THIS year. I just have a feeling I haven't had in years.

All be honest, I wasn't happy about the hier at first, I wanted Frost or The guy that went to Texas.. Herman? Anyway... But as time went on, who we got, I think it's the right move.

Then again, maybe it's the beer talking.
