Acting AG Whitaker To Take Authority On Mueller Probe From Rosenstein “I don’t see any current reason or good reason that Bob Mueller shouldn’t stay in that special counsel role,” Whitaker told CNN’s Jake Tapper. “There is no honest person that sits in the world of politics and in the world of law that can find anything wrong with Bob Mueller,” he said. Whitaker, a former U.S. attorney in Iowa who ran for political office as a Republican in 2014, also argued in an op-ed for CNN in August 2017 that Mueller would be crossing a line if he launched an investigation into the finances of Trump and his family. “Mueller has come up to a red line in the Russia 2016 election-meddling investigation that he is dangerously close to crossing,” Whitaker wrote. “That goes beyond the scope of the appointment of the special counsel.” ---------------------------------- Well anything will be better than having the 100% useless AG Sessions who let the deep state hoodwink him like that. Looking at some other stuff about this guy it at least sounds like he is the type that would tell Mueller he is out of bounds trying to do a 100% fishing expedition which he has been doing up to this point. I also think he would be the type to laugh in Mueller's face if he wanted to do some joke lying to the investigator charge on Trump's kid or Roger Stone when the charge is just he said/she said with no concrete evidence of lying. Does Mueller already have a grand jury indictment on something silly like that? Will he tell Mueller when he wants to release his final joke report that he isn't going to allow some political hit piece to be released like that when there is no legal basis for it - like Mueller releasing a joke document to Congress claiming obstruction by firing Comey or some nonsense like that?
