As understatements go, saying that Gator fans have tempered expectations is a pretty big one.

I had previously predicted we would end with a class nationally ranked between 10th and 14th ... I think we are now going to be lucky to finish in the top 20 and will likely end in the bottom half of the SEC if the information in the rumor mill has any legs to it.

Sorry for the bad news, maybe it proves to be nothing, but my positivity on this matter is dwindling.

Since it's just rumors I would rather not go into specifics, but ... take the list of 10 to 12 guys still available that keep getting thrown around as possible additions to the class on NSD and cut it in half. Also be prepared to lose a couple of current commits. That's where we MAY be at right now.

Hope for the best, but prepare for the worst. The former is getting pretty difficult, and just got a lot harder during the last 24 hours.
