Found this on restaurant.com.....either LSU is desperate for attendance, or they are just really generous. Wish UF had some enticement like this as well for those who don't normally go to games because of costs, etc.

Ticket to LSU game PLUS $25 restaurant gift card----$21.99 plus $4.50 fee. Not too shabby.

Nice! Or would be, if offered to those purchasing tickets to Gator games.

It's smart by that business, you get that $25 gift card, you might purchase some low overhead items with it, but then spend another $50 there that you wouldn't normally spend.

The business also gets to write off the $25 as a donation to the university.

Agreed. If you look at the eligible games they have listed, there are some nice games to choose from---Ole Miss, Miss St., etc.....not all totally cupcakes, but SEC games as well.

The Gators would be smart to look at these kinds of tactics to help boost attendance---local restaurants would do well to jump at that chance to participate. I just thought it was a great idea when I saw it.

It’s a basic restaurant.com gift card. May as well be a visa gift card. It’s not one restaurant doing this. It’s like LSU went through Groupon or Living Social to sell tix.

Packages are $24.99-$56.99 and include a ticket to an Upper Level seat and a $25 Restaurant.com Card, a package value of up to $85.
