That's true, they were quality but not superstars. Leak is someone I didn't appreciate until years after he was gone. Hopefully someone steps up. Next year will be interesting considering there will likely be a new coaching staff, and at present Driskel, Harris, and Grier will be sitting there ready to compete to start with Sheriron Jones in the mix too.

Hopefully he leaves Taylor in there enough so that he can get into synch with the offense. Some brain surgeons here don't understand that a lot of good backs need more than a handful of carries to be at their best. BTW did anyone else notice Jones miss 2 blocks last week that led to sacks ? So much for that theory about him playing more because he's better at blocking.

Jones did miss at least 2 blocks. It was his worst game blocking by far, but then again there was no consistency on offense regardless of position. Taylor also outperformed Jones in ypc. It did help that Taylor finished the last two quarters against Missouri's second/third string defense. Both got 12 carries.
