Growing up we'd always watch The Sound of Music, even though it's as much of a Christmas movie as The Great Outdoors. I think we always had a viewing of Grinch and Rudolph, as well. Nowadays I never miss the Christmas Story marathon or one of the 800 times Elf is on during December.

My dad’s favorite has always been A Christmas Carol with Alastair Sim. It’s in black & white, but it’s the best one. I always loved the claymation Rudolph the Red Nosed Reindeer.
