LOL. Covered. We are so afraid to throw the ball. Thanks to Chimp we now think that DB within two steps means the WR is "covered". Guess what? Their guys hold, miss the ball, forget to turn around, misunderstand the zones, cant catch etc. We're not the only ones with suspect DBs. In fact, our DBs are probably MORE talented than all the teams we play. And yet mediocre QBs can complete passes against us.

We could do the same if we had a HC and/or OC with balls to teach or QBs to make back shoulder throws or other methods to hit even a guy who is truly covered.

A lot of truth to that. With most offenses you see the QB many times throwing receivers "open" on intermediate routes.

We would still be where we are with these coaches and Grier. Just a fact.

Grier definitely wouldn't reach his max potential under this staff, but we'd won that game Saturday. Taking that banned substance was probably the smartest thing he did, so he could start fresh with a new staff

I don't think they trust Franks.

We nearly lost to Tinerc w Grier, and he looked almost exactly like Franks.

We'll find out how similar they are when Franks transfers. Maybe in the spring or after next year.

We listened to you guys rag on LDR for six to eight months, and you can't bear to hear about Franks' obvious problems for one week?
Im not sure where you are going with this.

Im the guy that said we would start LDR and that Franks isnt ready.

Franks isnt the problem on offense, though, obviously, he still isnt ready.

The problems are systematic and even the last of the diehard pumpers see that now.

Not quite. We may not be where we would want to be, but we wouldn't be where we are.
Whatever. This piece of shyt OC has now been terrible at three jobs at three premier schools all of whom had top 20 talent at worst and one of whom had the most talent ever collected by a non NFL team.

You keep dreaming that the problem is LDR, or Franks, or Treon, or Grier, Devon Gardner, or Shane Morris, or Blake Sims, or McCarron.

Every year, another QB to blame with this guy.

Saban was smart and fired the drunk fvkk after two years.

Law, I don't remember your position, so I am not arguing it. But there were guys on here saying unbelievably disgusting things: wishing him to leave, be injured, seems like one or more wished him dead. Yet his mistake was simply playing to the best of his limited abilities and trying to play hurt, a characteristic we have consistently applauded.
Those guys need to be reminded that you play your best players regardless of their abilities and then you get better players.
