Zambo, Air Races?

@Zambo Do you participate in these kind of races or just the Baja?

I was at the races last Friday. No I don't actually race. The racing is boring to watch IMO unless someone is crashing. They have a fair amount of crashes though. Anyway I just spend the whole time catching up with old friends. My good buddy, one of the guys who raced Baja last year, has box 102 at Reno every year. The heinous P51 crash a few years ago was right there. He is lucky to be alive.

The pilot that died (Jimmy Leeward) in that video was from here in Ocala. He a was a big figure here. He developed and lived in a fly-in community just a few short miles from my house. All sorts of really cool aircraft come into that place.
