I will never love a coach more than him. I can't believe racism forced him out before he had his 8 years to turn it around.

An FAU administrator described being “blown away” by Taggart during the interview process. I expected the next sentence to point out Taggart had passed gas in the room.

Any list that doesn't include Bear Bryant isn't worth consideration.

* John McKay is in there also.

While I generally agree with this 50 years ago started in 1970 and while Bear had some great teams in the 70's I'm looking more for body of work from that starting point. It could be said he is the greatest of ALL time, yes but from 1970 forward people like Tom Osbourne, JoePed and Booby would rank higher.....again based on that time period.

Now if you factored in overall effect on the game Bear would probably be at the top because CFB in the South (and the eventual rise of UF Football) would not be what it is today....he started the original "Arms Race" so to speak.

Bob Davie
Ty Willingham(WILLLLIE's mentor)
Ron Zook....

WiLLLLLLLie is a Boogerpicker minion. I know that has to hurt you.
Could have fooled me because both Willlllie and Ty have that same " I'm not sure what the f vck I'm doing here " look on their faces when on the sideline.....In fact I don't even think Zook fubared us half as bad as those idiots Davie and Willingham decimated ND.....

It really isnt hard to fool you.

You should recognize that what the fvkk is going on look on your boy Harbaugh every time he plays a decent team and gets blown out.

Willie Taggart - Wikipedia

After graduating from WKU in 1998, Taggart stayed on at the school as an assistant through 2006, serving as co-offensive coordinator under Jack Harbaugh on the Hilltoppers' 2002 Division I-AA national champions. He also worked alongside Harbaugh's son Jim,[4][dead link] who had been an unpaid certified assistant coach under his father in the final years of his NFL career.

When Jim Harbaugh was named head coach of the Stanford Cardinal football team following the 2006 season, he hired Taggart as his running backs coach. Taggart served in that role for the next two seasons, developing Doak Walker Award winner and Heisman runner-up Toby Gerhart into a star during that time. The younger Harbaugh also gave Taggart responsibility for recruiting in Taggart's home state of Florida, Georgia, Kentucky, and Riverside County, California.[4][dead link]

How do you possibly compare Meyer to Knute Rockne?

Didn’t that guy invent the Ronco Pedometer?
If only there had been such a thing......Ya know it is a shame the way the whole thing went down. I was never a PS fan but I had a lot of respect for the man until everything came out..who would have thought.

Indeed. Overrated Rockne doesn't deserve to be in the same sentence with Meyer. Rockne recruited nationwide with no competition and had the Catholic Church paying his players. A Reagan film about Gipp and a rah rah speech mean zilch. If he'd lived, the game would have buried him.

We just have to figure out who were Meyer’s Four Horsemen.

:headslap:You do realize he won 2 NC's and his teams played in about 5, right?
Played in a game against a barely top 20 team while they were top 10 equals NC game to you I guess.

Since he sucked and played shytty football, no doubt youd be a fan.

Were you a choir boy, by chance?
